Trade across LoC resumes

Weekly Cross-LoC trade resumed yesterday from Poonch-Rawalakote route, in district Poonch of Jammu and Kashmir after being suspended for one day due to sudden ban on export of moong dal by the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).AIR correspondent Chandra Kant Sharma reports from Jammu that Ban on export of dal moong by administration in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) has brought down the trade considerably from nearly Rs 7 crore last week to just over Rs 2 crore this time. For the past several months dal moong has been imported on large scale from Pakistan occupied Kashmir due to high demand of the pulse on this side and in view of huge variation of prices.
