Tourists of the world's longest river cruise MV Ganga Vilas visited the Sri Surya Pahar today, February 19, a hilltop site in the Goalpara district, famous for its terracotta and rock-cut sculpture depicting deities of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''It is an Archeological Survey of India's protected site of National Importance. The 26 Swiss and two German tourists visited the excavated site of the Buddhist monastery, Budhha Stupa, rock-cut caves and Dasabhuja temple at the Sri Surya Pahar. They also enjoyed cultural programmes and visited handicraft exhibition sites.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Tomorrow morning, the river cruise will reach Sualkuchi- a silk town in the Kamrup district. Sualkuchi known as 'Manchester of East' is a weaver's village. It is 35 km from Guwahati.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Last evening, the Cruise reached Goalpara from the IWAI Dhubri terminal.
