The Tourism Ministry has joined hands with the Information and Broadcasting Ministry for promotion of Incredible India Campaign and indian Cinemas at various International film festivals and markets abroad.
A Memorandum of Understanding, MoU to this effect was signed today in New Delhi in presence of Information and Broadcasting Minister Mrs Ambika Soni and Tourism Minsiter Subodh Kant Sahay.
Speaking on the occassion, Mrs Soni said that the initiative will help promote indian toursim destinations across the globe through cinemas as a sub- brand of Incredible India. She said, it will help seeking single window clearance for shootings of films where multiple agencies are involved.
Speaking on the occassion, The Tourism Minister Mr Sahay said that both the ministries will work together for the purpose. He said that the MoU will help increase inbound tourists by 5 miliion in 5 years.
