Tourism Ministry arranges special tour "Ambedkar Yatra" covering prominent places associated with life of Dr B.R Ambedkar

Tourists from Bharat Gaurav Train which was flagged off by the Union Tourism and culture Minister GK Reddy paid their tributes to Dr B R Ambedkar at his Birthday place Mhow in Madhya Pradesh today. The Ministry of Tourism has arranged a special tour "Ambedkar Yatra" covering the prominent places associated with life of Bhim Rao Ambedkar and Buddhism.<br />'' <br />''The Tourism Minister Reddy and Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar flagged off the Bharat Gaurav Tourist train yesterday to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. B R Ambedkar from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station in New Delhi.<br />'' <br />''Students from Myanmar and Vietnam also visited the site and paid their tributes and expressed their gratitude to the government for arranging such trip. Talking to All India Radio News, Arnandar who is a PhD student from Myanmar, said he is getting a lot of experience and knowledge from this tour.<br />''<b> </b><br />''During the 8-day tour, the train will cover cities including, Nagpur, Varanasi and sacred Buddhist sites like Sanchi, Sarnath, Gaya, Rajgir and Nalanda. The Ministry of Railways launched  Bharat Gaurav Trains initiatives in  February 2021 with the objective to showcase India's rich cultural heritage and magnificent historical places to the people of India and the world. The theme based tourist circuit trains, Bharat Gaurav Train is in line with the Government of India initiatives "Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat" and DekhoApnaDesh to promote domestic tourism.<br />
