<span style="color: #222222;">The total tally of COVID-19 vaccination beneficiaries has crossed 1.7 lakhs in the Union Territory of Puducherry today. This includes the 2nd dose of vaccination also.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports, so far 1,72,404 persons were administered COVID-19 Vaccination. This includes 1,08,511 general public, 30,384 health care workers and 18,100 front line staff. According to the health department, 638 new cases tested positive taking the tally to 5073 active cases as on today, including 904 persons in hospitals and 4169 in home isolation. Four people died. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">So far 7,37,514 persons tested, of which 6,69,341 reported negative. The recovery rate has still come down to 88.18 per cent and the mortality rate is 1.46 per cent.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the administration had declared 10 micro containment zones in Oulgaret taluk. All vehicular movement, movement of public transport and personal movement has been restricted in these areas.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The medical team shall carry out house to house screening within the zone as per COVID protocol. ASHA workers are also deployed to visit home isolation patients to monitor.</span><br />
