<span style="color: #222222;">A total of 1528 nominations have been received for the Delhi Assembly elections. Delhi Chief Electoral Officer Ranbir Singh told media in New Delhi today that out of the 1029 candidates, 842 are male and 187 are females. On the last day of filing nominations yesterday, a total of 806 nominations were received from 670 male candidates and 136 female candidates. Scrutiny of nomination papers is underway and the withdrawal of nominations can be made by the candidates till Friday. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' There are around one crore 47 lakh voters in Delhi. Polling for 70-member Assembly will be held on 8th of next month. Counting of votes will be taken up on 11th February. </span>
