In Maharashtra, the total number of COVID-19 positive patients is inching close to the 10,000 mark. At present, there are 9,915 COVID positive patients in the state.<br />'' <br />'' In Mumbai alone, 6,644 cases have been registered with 270 deaths. In all, 432 people have succumbed to this disease in the state so far.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, in order to make optimal use of time the State Government is urging pupils, parents and teachers to make maximum use of e-learning platforms.  <br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports, Maharashtra continues to remain the hotbed of COVID-19 cases in the country due to relentless increase in cases in Mumbai, Pune and Malegaon.<br />'' <br />'' In Nashik district, the number of people testing positive for the disease has gone up to 276 with 71 new cases.<br />'' <br />'' Most of these cases are from Malegaon. The new patients include six police personnel and three children – aged three months, five-years and 11-year old.<br />'' <br />'' However, the Maharashtra Government has urged students, parents and teachers to embrace various e-learning platforms and applications to learn and to impart education.<br />'' <br />'' The government has also urged to make use of Diksha – e-learning platform which provides more than 9,000 educational material in Marathi, English and Urdu for Class 1 to 10.<br />'' <br />'' In this e-learning method of teaching, there are interactive videos, content dirven videos, games to improve intelligence and many more.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, Women Self -Help Groups from Yavatmal District has made over 5 lakh home-made masks. Total 2,466 women from 1,422 'Umed' SHGs.<br />
