The last eclipse of the year, a total lunar eclipse began at 5.02 pm this evening. It will end at 11.02 in the night. This has given sky lovers all over the country an opportunity to witness the celestial event.

Mr. Arvind Paranjpye of Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics said, the entire event is visible from Asia and Australia. India is one of the best places to see this celestial event because the eclipse is visible here in its various phases from start to the end.
