Total fatality due to COVID-19 in Manipur surges to 22

<span style="color: #222222;">In Manipur, two COVID-19 positive patients expired during the past 24 hours, taking the total fatality due to the pandemic to 22.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A 34-year old male police personal expired last evening while a 70-year old female from Thoubal district expired today due to COVID-19 and other co-morbid health conditions. The pandemic has claimed the lives of 20 persons in the state so far.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the recovery rate of COVID-19 positive patients has increased to 67.32 per cent in Manipur with 194 persons discharged today from different COVID Care Centres after they were found free from Corona virus on RT-PCR test.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On the other hand, 83 persons including 22 personnel from the Central Armed Police Force were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases in the past twenty four hours in Manipur. Among the new cases, 60 locals do not have travel history.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">So far, Manipur has recorded total positive cases of 5,132 and out of this 3,455 were fully recovered and discharged from different COVID Care Centres. The number of active cases now is 1,655.</span><br />''
