In Pakistan, at least thirteen people have been killed and several areas submerged following torrential downpour in different parts of the country. In northern Balochistan, eight persons lost their lives and several villages inundated in Barkhan area. Another five persons were killed in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa province. Six villages were inundated and crops damaged by floods in Tanka Dam in Kohlu. Meanwhile, widespread rain has been continuing in different parts of the country including Islamabad.
