In the United States, thirty people were killed after a tornado tore through the city of Joplin the state of Missouri. Officials said the town suffered a direct hit from the tornado and parts of the city have been devastated. Missouri Governor, Jay Nixon has declared a state of emergency as weather man has warned of more storms. Only last month, at least 350 people were killed in Alabama and six other southern states of America due to tornadoes and storms.
