In Women's section second round matches, Venus Williams will open proceedings against Swiss qualifier Stefanie Voegele. Carina Witthoeft will take on defending champion Angelique Kerber. In the first round of Men's doubles, Rohan Bopanna with his Uruguayan partner Pablo Cuevas defeated the pair of Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil and Maximo Gonzalez of Argentina 6-4, 7-6 this morning. In Women's doubles, Sania Mirza with her Czech Republic partner Barbora Strycova will face the British duo of Jocelyn Rae and Anna Smith.
