Top NIA officials reach Jammu to question arrested Pak militant

National Investigation Agency(NIA) Chief Sharad Kumar along with senior officer of IG rank today reached Jammu to interrogate the arrested Pakistani militant Naved. Meanwhile, according to official sources, the NIA team has expressed unhappiness over leakage of interrogation reports to the media, which has created hurdles in reaching some of the vital and important people linked with the August 5 Udhampur terror attack.

Two BSF personnel and a militant were killed while one militant Naved was nabbed. Sources said that the publishing of reports in media helped some of the handlers and Over Ground Workers in touch with Naved to plan their escape and cover up operations. NIA officials were handed over the custody of Naved after securing 14 day remand from a Special NIA court in Jammu yesterday. According to sources, Naved is reportedly sent for narco-test for frequently changing his statements during questioning.
