In Andhra Pradesh, high alert has been sounded, especially on boarders with Orissa and Chhattisgarh following the killing of a top Maoist leader Cherukuri Rajakumar alias Azad and one more in an encounter. The Central Committee member of the outlawed CPI Maoists, Rajkumar, was killed in an encounter with the police at Jogapur forest area of Adilabad during wee hours on Friday. The post-mortem Rajkumar's body was held a short while ago at Manchiryal after allowing his family members to see the body on the directions of the high court. However, the police have not allowed the leaders of civil liberties to see the body.
