In Jammu and Kashmir, a top LeT terrorist has been killed by the security forces in a brief encounter in Lolab area of Kupwara. After receiving specific information about presence of terrorists in Sivr (Kaveri) area of Lolab, a joint team of army and police cordoned off the area. <br/><br/>As the forces tried to zero in the house where the terrorists were hiding, they opened fire on the forces which was retaliated. <br/><br/>The killed terrorist was identified as Abu Saad. SSP Kupwara Shamsher Hussain told AIR that Abu Saad was active in the area since last 2 years. An AK-47 rifle, 2 magazines and other ammunition was recovered from scene of the gunbattle.
