Later in the day, he would visit Partur in Marathawada region and lastly address rally at Kharghar in Navi Mumbai. Many leaders of other parties too have their campaigns lined up for the day. Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar while addressing the media in Mumbai countered the Congress narrative that abrogation of Article 370 was a mistake and listed the achievements of the Fadnavis Government in state. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">While Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is likely to address media this evening, Rajasthan Deputy chief Minister Sachin Pilot would be addressing rallies at Pune and Mumbai today. The Nationalist Congress Party President Sharad Pawar too would be holding a public rally in Navi Mumbai this evening. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena President Raj Thackeray is on a day-long visit to Nashik, actor and Congress Party leader Shatrughan Sinha would be holding rallies in Sangli, Satara, Karad and Nanded.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Union Information and Broadcasting Minister AND Senior BJP leader Prakash Javadekar has said that the Devendra Fadnavis-led Maharashtra Government has waived farm loans of 50 lakh farmers to the tune of 26,000 crore rupees in the state. Addressing a press conference in Mumbai today, Mr Javadekar listed out the achievements of the State Government during the last five years.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, besides, waiving the loan of farmers, the State Government has disbursed 6,000 rupees each into the bank accounts of 53 lakh farmers, irrigation has been covered in eight lakh hectare of land, the Jalyukt Shivar Yojana has been implemented in 22,000 villages and more than four lakh houses have been built under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Aawas Yojana.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">To a query that despite government waiving farm loans, the farmers' have been committing suicides, Mr Javadekar said, this has been happening in five districts of Vidarbha. He said, the Congress-NCP Government which earlier ruled the state did not implement irrigation projects in the areas which are prone to farmers suicide. Moreover, there was a massive corruption to the tune of 73,000 crore rupees in irrigation projects, he alleged.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Javadekar said, when the BJP comes to seek re-election after five years, this will be a non-issue as the irrigation projects will be implemented.   </span>
