In West Bengal, six maoists including a top leader Sidhu Soren and a soldier of CRPF's Cobra Force were killed in an encounter in West Midinapur district. CRPF sources told AIR that the encounter which started last night ended early Monday morning. CRPF and a battalion of special Action Force of state police took part in the operation. The security forces recovered all the six bodies and some weapons from the encounter site.
