In Jammu and Kashmir, a top ranking Hizb-ul Mujahideen militant has been killed in an encounter with security forces in Doda district. The slain militant has been identified as Riaz Ahmad, a self styled district commander of the outfit. He belongs to Haala village of district Ramban.<br/><br/> Sources said, the encounter took place in Laloor forests at around 9 pm yesterday when security forces launched an operation in the area.
