Top Hizb militant killed in J& K encounter

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Army and the police has averted a big tragedy by killing a top foreign militant of the Hizbul mujahideen outfit at Gusu village of South Kashmir's Pulwama District.<br/><br/>Police sources told All India Radio that the slain militant was carrying 30 KG of RDX explosive material in his possession for strikes in Srinagar. The slain militant has been identified as Abu Maya, a Pakistani national. <br/><br/>The Army said, he was a battalion commander and an IED expert. AIR correspondent reports a large quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered from the militant who was killed in a late night encounter. <br/> <br/><br/>
