Top BCCI officials meet PM, presents memento

Top BCCI officials on Thursday met Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and presented him with a bat signed by all the members of the Indian cricket team which won the coveted cricket World Cup earlier this month. BCCI President Shashank Manohar, Secretary N Srinivasan and Vice President Rajiv Shukla met the Dr. Singh at his residence to present him the memento. It was the first meeting between the BCCI officials and the Prime Minister after India's historic World Cup triumph at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 2. India had defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets to regain the prestigious trophy after a gap pf 28 years.
