The BJP has demanded strong and effective laws to fight terrorism. Addressing the two day BJP National Council meeting in New Delhi on Saturday, party President Rajnath Singh said the BJP will extend all possible support in framing tough laws for this. He said the country is facing the challenges of terrorism, infiltration and naxalism.

Singh alleged that the Congress led UPA government has failed on all fronts including political, economic and diplomatic fronts.

AIR correspondent reports, the BJP National Council will adopt two resolutions on Friday, one political and the other on economic situation.

Several senior party leaders including L.K Advani, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley and Chief Ministers from BJP ruled states are participating in the meet.
