Too many emission curbs to hit India's competitive power: Piyush Goyal

Power Minister Piyush Goyal has said that too many restrictions on carbon emission will curb India's competitive strength. In a series of tweets, Mr Goyal today said, the developed world must provide access to low-cost finance and technology to developing nations for climate action. The minister said, that India is not the polluter and also not responsible for the agony the world is facing today. <br/><br/>The UN Climate Change Conference in Paris, COP21 is scheduled from 30th November to 11 of next month. United States is contributing nearly 18 per cent to the carbon emission in the atmosphere. Europe is adding another 21 per cent and China is about 10 per cent. whereas the India's share in carbon emission is probably two and a half per cent.
