Tony Blair testifies before Iraq war inquiry

The former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, has begun giving testimony to the Iraq war inquiry in London. In the first part of his testimony, Mr Blair has explained why Britain changed its policy towards Saddam Hussein after the September 11 terrorist attacks.<br/><br/>Mr. Blair told the Inquiry that Britain's attitude towards the risk posed by Saddam Hussein "changed dramatically" after September 11, 2001. The former Prime Minister said that the policy up to that point was one of "containment". It is expected he will be questioned for about six hours. <br/><br/>The chairman of the inquiry, retired civil servant John Chilcot, said the point of the questions would be to establish "Why did we invade Iraq.
