A dedicated toll-free number- 1098 for Childline Services is available at 412 locations across the country. <br/><br/>Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Virendra Kumar stated this in reply to a question in Rajya Sabha today. <br/><br/>He said, under the Integrated Child Protection Scheme, now known as Child Protection Services provides institutional and Non-institutional support systems for children in need of care and protection. <br/><br/>Under the services, the Ministry is also providing support for an outreach service for children in distress including children requiring assistance for protection from abuse.
