Toll free help line service to address complaints of voters

The Election Commission has started a toll free help line service with a view to address the complaints of voters regarding enrolling names in voter list.

It will also entertain discrepancies in the voter's identity card provided by the commission and other election related concerns. Talking to AIR, Deputy Election Commissioner Alok Shukla said that the Help Line Number ‘1950’ is operational and people from any part of the country can register their complaints on this number. He said that after receving the complaints the action will be taken to address their concerns.
