The main draw of the Japan Open Super Series Badminton tournament will begin in Tokyo from today. P V Sindhu and 9 other Indian shuttlers will play their opening round matches today.In the Women's Singles, eighth seed Sindhu will clash with Japanese Yukino Nakai, while Tanvi Lad will take on another local girl, Sayaka Takahashi. Ajay Jayaram, Anand Pawar, Sourabh Verma, HS Prannoy, Srikanth K. and Sai Praneeth will be seen in action in the Men's Singles opening round. The duo of Manu Attri and Sumeeth Reddy B. will figure in the Men's Doubles category. P V Sindhu is spearheading the Indian challenge in the absence of ace players, Saina Nehwal and P. Kashyap. While Saina decided to give the tournament a miss after a hectic Indian Badminton League, Kashyap skipped the Japan Open due to an ankle injury.
