Today is World Rhino Day. Indian Oil has made arrangements to celebrate the day in all the petrol bunks and other outlets. The Organisation has made the Indian Rhino as its mascot to protect the endangered wildlife found in Assam and WestBengal. Speaking to AIR, the General Manager of Indian Oil Corporation Tamilnadu, Mr.Kumaravel said that it is a collective responsibility to conserve and protect the Indian Rhinos.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #000000;">The greater one horned Rhino or the Indian Rhino, is the largest of Rhino species found in North Indian States and Nepal. Assam has nearly three quarters of Rhinos in the world found in Kaziranga National Park, Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary and Orang National park. The International Rhino foundation has said that Rhinos in Kaziranga Park are being translocated to Manas National Park to protect them from being affected during floods at the Brahmaputra River. With the efforts of the Government and the Indian Rhino Vision, the population of the Greater Rhinos have increased to more than 3000. The world wide fund has launched a rhino scheme to protect the world's most endangered animal in countries where Rhinos are found.</span><br />
