In a tweet, he said that the Centre is working to ensure early detection and affordable treatment of cancer through Ayushman Bharat -Health and Wellness Centres, Prime Minister Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana and various other initiatives. He said that a total of 17 crore 44 lakh oral cancer screenings, 8 crore 27 lakh Breast cancer screenings and 5 crore 66 lakh Cervical Cancer screenigns have been conducted at these Centres so far.
