The National Public Service Broadcasting day is being observed today. Talking about the importance of public broadcasting, Prasar Bharati Chairperson Mriral Pande said that public broadcasting is of great importance in countries like India.

All India Radio will broadcast live at 3 pm, the function from the premises of Broadcasting House, to commemmorate the 64th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi's visit to Broadcasting House.

The programme will be available on one of the multi-channel stations of All India Radio besides having RN support.
