To provide smooth travel to commuters during the Commonwealth games, Delhi Metro will run trains at an average frequency of 2.5 minutes. Engineers from Germany and South Korea will be deployed to ensure that no technical glitches take place. Metro will run a total of 181 trains to cater to increased number of commuters during the Games. To control the crowd, about 250 scouts and Guides and 153 Bangalore Metro trainees will be deployed at various stations. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has set up 'Information Desks' at all stations to help commuters. The Central Secretariat-Badarpur corridor which provides direct connectivity to the Jawahar lal Nehru stadium is also likely to be operational from tomorrow.
