Tamil Nadu Government has raised the monthly pension amount of differently-abled persons from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 1500 from January next year. &nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' Announcing this, on the occasion of International differently abled day in Chennai today, December 3, Chief Minister M.K.Stalin said that more than four lakh differently-abled people will be benefitted by the scheme.&nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' Referring to various steps taken by the State Government for the benefit of the differently abled, he said that an expert committee has been formed to identify vacancies in all the departments where differently abled can be employed.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' The Chief Minister said that an exclusive way has been facilitated for elderly and differently-abled persons to reach the waters of Marina Beach.&nbsp; Mr.Stalin also launched the scheme of providing laptops for differently-abled persons. A mobile clinic for the benefit of the differently abled was also flagged off by the Chief Minister today.&nbsp;
