To tide over the acute power shortage, Tamil Nadu Government on Saturday announced a power holiday for industries besides increasing load shedding to domestic consumers in Chennai city and its suburbs.The State Electricity board said the new load shedding schedule for domestic consumers will come into effect from Monday, while the power holiday for industries will be implemented from the 1st of next month.
