Prime Minister Narendra Modi today left for Chennai to take stock of the situation arising due to the devastating floods. Yesterday Mr Modi had discussed the situation with his cabinet colleagues, including the Home and Finance Ministers. The Prime Minister had also spoken to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Tuesday and assured her all possible support and cooperation from the Centre.
