A statutory enquiry will be held into the Tamil Nadu Express fire accident at Nellore tomorrow and the day after. The Commissioner of Railway Safety Dinesh Kumar Singh will hold the enquiry at Nellore Railway Station Premises. The railway authorities have appealed to those people who possessed information relating to the mishap may appear before the commissioner. A forensic team is also looking into the cause of fire in the incident.

Meanwhile, the railway authorities have handed over 19 bodies of the accident victims to their kin so far. A total 32 charred bodies were recovered from the burnt S-11 coach of the Tamil Nadu Express. The authorities have kept 9 bodies which are still unidentified at the Nellore Government Hospital after embalming. On the other hand, the details of 17 missing passengers are still awaited.
