Tamilnadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at New Delhi in his office today. Ms. Jayalalitha will also present a memorandum on some crucial pending issues relating to Tamilnadu.

The memorandum will highlight the issues which require urgent attention of the Central government to safeguard the legitimate interests of the State and to propel the State on a faster growth.

On the fishermen issue, she had requested the Prime Minister to take a strong stand to enable a permanent solution.

Tamilnadu Chief Minister will also call on President Pranab Mukherjee.
