Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edapadi K Palanisami today said that a proposal for 2898 crore rupees loan from the Asian Development bank is expected to be approved soon. Speaking to media in Trichy after a high level review meeting, Mr Palanisami said, the loan will be used to further augment facilities of the Grand Anicut dam near Trichy.<br />'' <br />''He further said that the first phase of development works of the Tamilnadu Newsprint Ltd in Trichy district will be completed by January next, ensuring production of 400 metric tonne and increased employment opportunities.<br />'' <br />''Mr Palanisami also said that an industrial park as well as a food park will also be set up in Manapparai area in the district.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The CM added that 40 per cent of the work of replacing 8 shutters of the Mukkompu dam is complete and that the remaining works will be completed by January, next year.</span><br />
