Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa to visit Delhi on 14th of this month and is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. <br/><br/>An official statement from the state government issued in Chennai, says Ms Jayalalithaa would be returning to Chennai the same day after discussing important issues related to the state with the Prime Minister. <br/><br/>This would be her first visit to Delhi after assuming charge as chief minister of Tamil Nadu for a second consecutive term. Though it is customary for newly elected chief ministers to meet Prime Minister immediately after assuming charge, Ms Jayalalithaa's visit assumes significance, as media reports suggest that the BJP and the AIADMK are warming up to each other post Assembly polls. <br/><br/>The AIADMK has emerged as the third largest party in Parliament, whose support in the House of the Elders is crucial for the passage of key legislation including the stalled GST Bill.
