Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa has asked the Union Public Service Commission to defer the Civil Services Main Examinations by two months to help the civil service aspirants from the state to prepare adequately who are affected by flood. <br/><br/>In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she has said most of the aspirants from the state stay in the city to prepare for the examinations, whose preparations have been disrupted in the last few weeks due to the flood that has been declared as a calamity of severe magnitude.<br/><br/>Many political parties from the state have also sought to postpone the examinations to give time for the aspirants to prepare themselves.<br/><br/>
