Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee has said her party will capture power at the Centre along with like-minded parties after the Lok Sabha elections. Addressing a rally at Shantibazar about 100 kilometers off Agartala in Tripura, she charged Congress, BJP and CPI(M) having hand in glove. She said she would continue attacking the Red bastion in Tripura and would spread her party's base across the country within the next six months.

Mamata Banerjee said Trinamool congress ended the 34-year misrule of the Left in West Bengal and will now drive the CPI(M) away from Tripura. She alleged that no proper development had taken place in the state due to the misrule of CPI(M).She said Tripura remains backward despite huge fund flow from the Centre.
