Trinamool Congress today staged a walk out in Lok Sabha seeking statement from the government on a reported recovery of a diary from Sahara chief Subrata Roy figuring the name of BJP President Amit Shah. As soon as House met, TMC MPs raised the issue and demanded suspension of question hour. The Speaker Sumitra Mahajan rejected the motion quoting rules. Expressing their dissatisfaction and seeking a statement from government the MPs walked out from the House.
Earlier, Trinamool Congress MPs also protested outside Parliament on the issue. Talking to reporters, party MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay accused the CBI of not taking action against Mr. Shah and others in this regard. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should answer on it in the House.
