TMC Parliamentary party leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay to be produced before CBI court in Bhubaneshwar today

TMC (Trinamool Congress) Parliamentary party leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay will be produced before a CBI court in Bhubaneshwar today. He was arrested in the 17 thousand crore rupee Rose Valley chit fund scam yesterday. <br/><br/>The CBI, probing into the mega chit fund scam, brought the TMC MP to the Odisha capital Bhubaneswar last night to produce him before court. A four-time MP and former Union minister, he is the fifth and most high-profile Trinamool leader to be arrested in Ponzi scam related cases so far. <br/><br/>On last Friday, another Trinamool Congress MP Tapas Paul, who the CBI arrested and brought to Bhubaneswar for interrogation of his alleged links with money deposit collection company Rose Valley, was again remanded in custody of the central agency for three more days for further interrogation. <br/><br/>Sources said that Sudip Bandopadhyay and Tapas Pal would be interrogated together by CBI in Bhubaneswar, so that more names related to the scam could be revealed.
