A street- rally was today organised in front of the Collectorate in West Midnapore, district of West Bengal by the Trinamool Congress. The Minister of state of rural development and Trinamool Congress M.P. Mr. Subhendu Adhikari led the agitation which called for the withdrawal of the joint forces fighting the Maoists in the jungle mahal. Mr. Adhikari alleged that CPI(M) workers in the garb of joint forces are torturing innocent villagers and tribals.
