Trinamool Congress MPs protested in Parliament premises today over the government's decision to lower the interest rates on small saving schemes. Displaying posters, the Parliamentarians raised slogans against the government and demanded its roll back. They also questioned the Centre over pending NPAs in banks.<br/><br/>Recently, the government lowered the interest rates on small saving schemes like Public Provident Fund, Kisan Vikas Patra and Sukanya Samriddhi schemes by 0.1 percent for the April-June quarter.
