Trinamool Congress leader and Railway Minister Mukul Roy today said, the Trinamool Congress Ministers would tender their resignations to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, this afternoon. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Senior Party leader Mr. Roy said, the TMC Ministers will meet President Pranab Mukherjee, officially informing of the withdrawal of support of the Trinamool Congress to the Congress led UPA government.
Mr. Roy said, the Trinamool Congress is opposed to the decision on FDI in retail and price hike and launch protests against the manner in which the decisions were introduced. The Trinamool has currently six Ministers including one with Cabinet rank.
