The Trinamool Congress, an ally of the UPA government at the Centre is meeting in Kolkata this afternoon to decide future course of action on Centre's recent decision on reforms. The party's 72 hour deadline for a roll back of the Centre's decision to hike diesel price, capping subsidy on LPG cyllinders and allow FDI in multi-brand retail will expire today. Our Kolkata correspondent reports that the Trinamool Congress Supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Ms. Mamta Banerje will preside over the crucial meeting were all party MPs, State Ministers and Chief of frontal organisations have been asked to be present.Meanwhile the Information and Broadcasting Minister Mrs Ambika Soni has said that Trinamool Congress is the key ally of the UPA and hoped that party chief Ms Mamata Benerjee will understand the necessity of government measures to revive the economy. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Mrs Soni hoped that in its parliamentary party meet today TMC will discuss the FDI issue and understand the importance of the government's move.The Minister said that the Prime Minister is repeatedly saying that adequate resources has to be made available for important sectors like Health, Education and infrastructure
