TMC delegation led by Mukul Roy reaches hospital to see Marghat victims

In West Bengal, a Trinamul Congress delegation led by the Central minister Mr. Mukul Roy went to the Dimond Harbour hospital to enquire about the health of the injured in the confrontation which took place between the villagers and the police yesterday at Magrahat in South 24 Parganas district. They also enquired about the two dead in police firing. The two dead are kept at the Dimond Harbour hospital and they will be taken back to their village after postmortem.A team of Left Front leaders also visited Magrahat today. In protest against the firing, Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) (Communist) has called for a 12 hours bandh tomorrow in Magrahat against the killing. It may be mentioned that yesterday a confrontation broke-out between the police and the villagers after the police launched and anti-hooking drive and the villagers demanding 24 hours of supply of electricity.
