In Jammu and Kashmir, a major tragedy was averted with the timely detection of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on Jammu-Poonch National Highway this morning. According to official sources a Road Opening Party of Rashtriya Rifle this morning detected an IED near village Gajna Wala in Bata Dhuriya area of Poonch district on Jammu-Poonch National Highway. The IED was planted by militants in a pressure cooker.
