Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said the time has come to re-open the national capital as it is fully ready to relax lockdown restrictions.<br />''<br />''He said the Delhi is prepared for lifting the lockdown  other than containment zones and he will suggest the Central government to declare only containment areas in the city as red zone and not the entire district.<br />''<br />''Briefing the media, Mr Kejriwal said the lockdown was necessary to contain COVID-19 and now the city is prepared to deal with the situation. He said we will have to be ready to live with coronavirus.<br />''<br />''The Chief Minister said the revenue and employment are being adversely affected due to the lockdown and Delhi will not be able to sustain the restrictions for long.<br />''<br />''Standalone shops, neighbourhood shops and shops in residential complexes selling liquor, paan, gutka, tobacco are allowed as well to operate ensuring minimum 6 ft distance among customers.<br />''<br />''Mr. Kejriwal, however, said Delhi government will implement all lockdown relaxations prescribed by the Home Ministry and city government offices engaged in essential services will function with full strength while private office will open with 33 percent strength.<br />''<br />''Mr Kejriwal informed that the suspension of travel by flight, Delhi Metro and bus will continue in the national capital.<br />''<br />''He also said, malls and market complex will be shut but shops selling Essential commodities and books and stationery will be allowed to open besides industrial estate.<br />''<br />''The Construction activity will be allowed if workers are staying on site. All agricultural activities are permitted and supply chain activities related to agriculture will function in the city.<br />''<br />''The Chief Minister said the e-commerce activities only for essential commodities is permitted.<br />''<br />''Mr Kejriwal added that Delhi has been declared as red zone  and all relaxations that the Centre is providing in red zones will be given in the areas.<br />
