<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said that till now neglected Health and Hygiene have been made a result-oriented priority programme by the Modi Government.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A series of Poshan Jagrukta Abhiyaan programmes were organised under Poshan Maah among different sections of the society at various places of Mumbai by the Union Ministry for Women and Child Development and the Ministry for Minority Affairs.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking at these programmes, Mr. Naqvi said that the Decisions with Delivery has been a commitment of the Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, the government has taken several measures to ensure the health and well-being of the people especially children and women from all sections of the society.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said the Poshan Abhiyaan has become an effective mass movement to eradicate mal-nutrition in the country especially among children, adolescent girls, pregnant women and lactating mothers.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Naqvi said, the Modi Government has worked on a war-footing to provide affordable and quality health services to the people of the country.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He informed that a total of 15 new AIIMS have been approved since 2014. The number of medical colleges has increased from 381 in 2014 to more than 565 now.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Naqvi further informed that more than two crore 11 lakh people have been provided various medical treatment facilities free of cost under Jan Arogya Yojana.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said more than 8,000 Jan Aushadhi Kendra across the country are providing different medicines at affordable prices for the poor.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">While about four crore children have been vaccinated against various diseases under Mission Indradhanush.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Naqvi said that under Swachh Bharat Mission, about 11 crore 30 lakh toilets have been constructed across the country.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said more than six lakh villages have been made Open Defecation Free.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">While clean drinking water facilities have been provided to more than one lakh villages and more than four crore 50 lakh houses have been provided tap water in the last two years under Har Ghar Jal Mission.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Naqvi said that just within a year, the country has become self-reliant in Corona vaccines, testing kits, medical oxygen and Corona hospitals.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, World's largest free Corona vaccination drive is going on in India where more than 69 crore people have been vaccinated against the Corona virus, which is a record.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He informed that free ration has been provided to more than 80 crore people during the Corona pandemic.</span><br />
