Tihar jail inmates will make their own blankets. This decision has been taken by the jail administration to cater to the growing demand of blankets in the jail. Jail spokesperson Sunil Gupta said that under the scheme, over 12 thousand prisoners will be provided good quality blanket. He said, the jail will manufacture about 10 thousand blankets every year and these blankets will be manufactured only for the inmates and not for sale.
